Complete untested speculation on my part:
If you are using VNC + encrypted tunnelling program (SSH or Zebedee come to
mind) you may be able to also map tcp/udp ports 135 - 139 (ports used for
RPC and netbios on Windows) on the remote machine (assuming the remote
machine is running Windows). Thus, in theory it may be possible to map over
from the remote machine to the local machine (ie, from a command prompt "net
use \\localhost\sharename" on the remote machine while your tunnel session
is up).
To add this functionality to the server code itself is beyond my present
programming abilities....

Hello All,
This is a question that I too have been very interested in for some time now
and
was wondering if any of the VNC experts out there might want to speculate on
what would be required in order to implement the printer and drive mappings
routines?
Cheers,
Lonnie
