I sent a message to this list a while ago, with no reply.
I have WinVNC installed on a win98 2nd ed. machine and when using a
vncviewer from another windows machine, everything works fine. however
when I run vncviewer from a linux machine (redhat 7.1 AND slackware 7.0),
WinVNC crashes with the following error:

<snip> WINVNC caused a general protection fault in module DIBENG.DLL at
005:00002a7f </snip>

It also has the habit of causing explorer to crash with an invalid page
fault. any remedies or solutions? Even just pointing me in the right
direction would be nice.
