VNCtight faild to start.

Can any body tell me where to look ?
I'm been running VNC nicely over a same period.
But know when i got a laptop with a carphone communication
Vnc is heavy.  After looking in this Mailinglist 
VNCTIGHT is recommended.
After uninstall of VNC and install of TightVnc 
TightVnc won't start.
The log says:

_FontTransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 2
failed to set default font path 'unix/:7100'
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'

Can any body point me in the right direction ?
