Integrating VNC into a XFree86 4.0 tree ?

What's the farthest anyone has got moving the code to sit inside the Xf86 tree?
I have it building (with a bunch of extensions such as OpenGL (via Mesa)), but
it core dumps as soon as the viewer makes a connection.
(The Xvnc server is running as I can do both xdpyinfo and glxinfo).
