When I call Xvnc directly (not using the vncserver script... )

Hmmm, maybe I don't understand, but so do I.

I run xvnc thusly:
vncserver :97 -name blah -depth 16 -geometry 1272x992

And 'vncserver' is a perl script that runs xvnc for me, then I connect via
the viewer from my win2000 machine (via display blah:97).

When I do this, ~/.vnc/xstartup is sourced. Doesn't this happen for
everyone? I think this is according to the docs.
