Or, you could use the mod mp3 server setup, or a shoutcast setup (don't know
if it supports linux or not).  Then you could use winamp or the like and
listen to streaming music from home wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Why not set up a web server?  That's what I did.  Then when you download
music,
it's saved on your local hard drive as temporary file.
