KDE setup in startup script?

My ~/.vnc/xstartup file looks as follows:

-----------------8<-----------------
#!/bin/sh

startkde &
----------------->8-----------------

Works fine for me.  This is on Redhat 7.1, which I believe is KDE 2.1.
