Desktop sharing/Server queue

I use VNC with no problems, but I was wondering if there is server-based
solution (middleware) that handles VNC sessions.  For instance, I may
share my desktop with multiple users through the server and vice versa.
I've thought JMS could be utilized, but wondered if there was anything
already out there.
