Problem with vncserver on a SCO unixware 7.1.0, xauth error

Hello, out there, i hope somebody can help me with this,
as I mentioned I work with a SCO UNIWARE 7.1.0 on intel box...
I can start the vncserver, as you can see below, but when I start the viewer
from
my WIN 2K pc I get a grey screen even if i start the viewer on the unix
itself
(looking to itself) also grey.
I looked into the FAQ list but playing around with the twm or pmwm did not
change anything
last remark: strange is that the title on the viewer mentioned "root's X
desktop (sco-unix:1)
