set to logon with system account and interact. Run WinVnc(AppMode) works
fine except when you want to lock down the server with (control, alt, del) you
can't get the server to accept the command. This is explained in the faq on
the vnc website. according to what I read this can only be done when it is
run as a service.

Thomas:
Is the service set to logon with the local system account AND to interact
with the desktop? Just querying.
Also, If you choose "Run WinVNC (AppMode)" do you get the same error?

I just joined this group. so bear with me. we are using winvnc on several nt
servers here as a service that starts with nt server4.0 sp6a. I have set it
up on an additional server and install the service and rebooted. when the
service tries to start it fails with access denied. When it was installed it
was done logged in with admin rights to the server. any suggestions would be
helpful.
