Hi,
I'm newbie in this platform, I would like to know, if after install XVnc in
my HP-UX, I'll really seen the same screen (display) that my user are
seeing. I'll try to explain it better.
I have a X-aplication and I would like to see the same aplication from my
PC, in this way I will be able to guide them, in using the aplication. I
have a little problem with distances, my users are in another building 700
mts away.
Thanks in advance.
Diego Llorca.

I had no responses on this. Not sure if it went through to the list OK.
I know this is a common problem. However, the fix seems to be mysterious
(at least for me).
Is there not anyone willing to take the time and explain how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Serge.

If your users view the desktop running the application, then you can also
connect to the same desktop.
I have not found a method in which a VNCViewer session would be able to view
an existing X session ran by a user.
This is not a problem with the Windows VNC Server as you can only see one
desktop at a time.
I hope this helps.
Serge.

How about x0rfbserver (or whatever it's called)? This attaches to a
running X session and serves the display like WinVNC, rather than creating
it's own desktop like Xvnc. Disclaimer: I've never tried using it!

That's all right Freddy, I still use vi and see no need for emacs. Ah
well, life moves on.

Look on:
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/download.html
You didn't specify a platform.
Windows Source:
ftp://ftp.uk.research.att.com/pub/vnc/dist/vnc-3.3.3r7_winsrc.zip
vnc_winsrc\winvnc is the source of the VNC Server.
Unix Source:
ftp://ftp.uk.research.att.com/pub/vnc/dist/vnc-3.3.3r2_unixsrc.tgz
vnc_unixsrc/Xvnc & vnc_unixsrc/vncserver are the sources of the VNC Server.
Java Source:
