Your right. Unix is an excellent operating system. The one thing that holds
Unix and even Linux back though is that it still isn't very easy to use. You
have know a lot about computers and even the OS itself to really get the
most out of these types of systems. Macintosh has done this, but the problem
with the Macintosh is that they forgot about the workplace, the Macintosh
wasn't really designed for the workplace or other places that computers
might be needed. Yea, the Macintosh is easy to use, but you also need to get
work done as well. Windows is not secure and crashs frequently, but it's
easy to use and it's designed for both the home and the workplace. And with
the direction that Microsoft is going, Bill Gates might just stay on top of
the OS market for a long time.
