Well, I thought I knew what I was doing . . . ;-)

Hey all,
I have successfully installed vnc in inetd server mode on Solaris 8,
RedHat 7.1, RedHat 7.1 and Suse 7.0. My latest attempt is on Debian
(woody) 3.0 and I am back to the infamous grey screen. I am using KDE2
(kdm) and have modified the /etc/kde2/kdm/kdmrc file and enabled XDMCP
and opened port 177, but using netstat it appears that xdmcp is only
using udp and not tcp. I removed the argument relating to no tcp in the
/etc/kde2/kdm/Xservers file. Still nothing.
Anyone know how to get kdm to listen on using tcp port 177? The
version of kdm is 2.2.1.0-6.
Thanks,
Jeff
