Linux + Netscape

This actually happens on multiple servers. It is not hardware related. I
have the work around as a link to download the true client and it works
great, but, I would rather tell our users that they can use either their
browser, or download the client.
The browser is much easier if I need to do something quickly.
Anyhoo, it doesn't look I'll be getting many more responses to this
question, so I'll unsubscribe and come back in a few months to see if anyone
has tried to figure this out. If anyone finds a solution, please email me

Subject: AW: Linux + Netscape
Hello,
I had a similar problem:
When connecting to one of my Linux boxes, the VNC-Display
will suddenly hang, no matter if I use Netscape or VNCviewer.
The box in question is an old Pentium 75 serving as router.
It has only 32 MB RAM and X runs pretty slow on it, if I
use X at all on that box, that is. The reason for my problem
seems obvious: This is a very old box, it's performance
is way behind of anything else I have in the network.
I managed to tweak things a bit by shutting down all
unneeded stuff and by choosing a window manager that won't
use much resources (Blackbox). Maybe you should give this
a try ?
Regards,
DD.
