VNC: Authentication failed ?! Who else out there uses aLinux client to connect to an NT server?

I usually use an NT viewer to connect to a Linux (Slack 7.1)
server. However, I just tried it the opposite way, with and
without command-line server-name argument, and it worked fine.
Windows server is 3.3.3r7, Linux viewer is 3.3.3r1.
