Yep, sounds familiar. I haven't had much luck with the 3.3.3
(current) MacOS Server. I still use 3.3.2 (Beta 2) server with,
although it takes up much more memory, is much more reliable with my
setup. It looks like you can still get it at the main VNC site
<http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/macvnc.html> by downloading the
"old" server for macintosh.
There is also an alternate server, which I haven't tried recently, at
<http://chromatix.autistics.org/vnc/>

The box said: "Needs Windows 98 or better," so I bought a Macintosh.
