WinVNC Default Password prompt on reboot

Okay, guys, problem solved! Thanks to all of you, especially Todd
Vernon--clicking on Show Default User Settings shortcut icon in the VNC
Administrative Tools directory brings up the dialogue box with a blank
password. Once you enter the pw (and change the Display Number if desired)
and click OK, it appears to set the entries for good.
For security reasons, however, I typically delete the Administrative Tools
directory and/or the needed shortcut. However the shortcut merely runs the
WinVNC.exe program with the "-default settings" switch, so you can always
just run the following command line:
%root%\Program Files\Orl\Vnc\WinVNC.exe -defaultsettings
So, Janis, I hope you're still watching the list!

Hi, Jaanis,
I insatlled the most recent WinVNC release, 3.3.3r7. Maybe you saw the other
message from Thomas Lerman, who says that he's never had the problem! I'm
glad to know I'm not the only one! It seems to be a quirky problem--hope one
of us can find the answer!

Hi, Lawrence!
I have the same problem on several Win95/98 computers.
But only on several, not all.
But this is only thing, I can say to you.
I'm sorry, but I d't know what's causing this problem and how I might solve
it, too.
Wich WinVNC version is runing on your computers?
