KeyMap question

Hi --

Sorry if this is a newbie-sounding question, but I don't find keymaps
and keysyms to be well-documented for VNC (are they well documented
*anywhere*?).

I'm wondering if anyone out there could send me a recipe for adding some
keymaps to my VNC session. In particular, I'm trying to make two of my
F* keys on my PC's keyboard function like the "Open" and "Front" keys on
the Sun keyboard (e.g. "Open" iconifies a window or deiconifies an icon,
and "Front" pushes a window to the back (if in front) or brings it to
the front (if covered)). I'm using 'olwm' on my server, which is
running on a Sun box.

I couldn't really find any specific answers in the FAQ or the mailing
list archives. And I'm not even sure I know how to figure out what
keysym a particular key sends, or how to xmodmap that into something
useful for 'olwm' -- I have something of a clue for 'dtwm', but I don't
like to use CDE over the internet because it makes the desktop too busy
and s l o o o w ...

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

-Phil
