linux client

I'm having trouble using hte linux client to view a vnc server that is on a
windows nt 4 box. The windows clients aroudn the office connect to it without
trouble, AND when i set up the linux client to listen i can get the server to
connect to it ...

HOWever, when i try to connect using hte linux client it failes on the password
check saying that i'm not authorized to connect to he server ... 

how do i correct this problem ... Its getting to be a pain to have someone else
connect me via the listen functin when i need to us a windows box. (no monitor
is connect to the vnc server)
