Problem w/ VNC server as a Service on Win2K

Hello,

I just downloaded VNC 3.3.3r7 and installed on Win2K
server. It runs fine as an app, but when installed as
a service, i can't connect. I got an error of
"password not set". I did set the password in the
properties box when it was running as an app.
The service starts and stops with no errors in the
event viewer.
I searched the registry keys and there are no entries.
When i run the registry helper, it tells me it can't
contact the VNCserver.
I've searched the archives but found nothing on the
topic.
