I have a DSL router that has a static IP address to the Internet and my Win NT
box sit off of that with an internal IP address.
I have tried to use WinGate by mapping port 21 (my port 5800 from my ISP is
not open) to 5800 with a redirect to http://192.x.x.x:5800/. I have gotten
the logon screen to come up from my local PC IE5, but fails after the password
is entered. Trying to access from another PC not connected internally gives a
'The page cannot be displayed' error.
I have tried mapping port 5900 in WinGate by adding another WWW port and
redirecting back to http://192.x.x.x:21/ to no avail. I have also played with
setting the 'AllowLocalloopback' and 'AllowLoopback'.
Any help would be appreciated.
