Hi, there

I have an sun 2.6 and CDE desktop login as user "tom".
I like to run vncserver as user tom (which is ok now
after reading pointer from the vnc archive.) and see
the screen on the sun monitor from my nt wks. The aim
is to monitor tom's desktop applicaion without going
to the machine which is far away.

But when I use nt vnviewer connect to the sun box
I got an new desktop session as user tom not the
deskop screen which has many applicaions running
already.

How can I view the tom's 1st desktop screen on
the Sun monitor ?

here is my setup
1. change "chown tom /usr/local/bin/vnc*"
2.
tom> cat .vnc/xstartup
#!/bin/sh
#xrdb $HOME/.Xresources
#xsetroot -solid grey
#xterm -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP Desktop" &
#twm &
/usr/dt/bin/Xsession &
#/usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemon &
#/etc/init.d/dtlogin start &

Thanks for your pointer

tj
