Cannot connect from browser

I have a new installation TurboLinux and am setting up VNC to be used by
my department as site to run remote X apps.  Whenever I try to connect
to the vnc server with the browser I get file not found and the
following in the log:

29/03/00 13:12:57 httpd: get '' for 206.223.27.37
29/03/00 13:12:57 httpd: defaulting to 'index.vnc'
29/03/00 13:12:57 httpProcessInput: open: No such file or directory

I used the same procedures that I had on Mandrake.  Any ideas?
