VNC trough a third party server?

Hi everyone, 

I am looking for a VNC that can run over the internet between 
private networks that are secured via firewalls against the internet. 
In this (common) setting neither side can access hosts on the
opposite side directly.
I would need something like a server running on a third party host, 
that both can connect to and share their desktops.

Do you know of such an enhancement to VNC?

Or is there a product/service on the market that can do this?
 
Any hints are more than welcome.
