Problems viewing RiscPC from Win98

I'm running Paul Corke's VNC server on a RiscPC (RiscOS 3.7), and trying =
to view from Win98. For some reason I'm getting stuck with the 'Please =
wait - initial screen loading' message. I'm pretty sure the connection =
is being established but the Risc OS desktop doesn't appear.
The strange thing is, every now and again it works, but there's no =
apparent rhyme or reason to it. It always works if I restrict the pixels =
to 8 bits, but the updates are incredibly slow and the colours are all =
messed up.
I have no problem viewing other PCs on the network, and other PCs have =
no problem viewing the RiscPC. There seems to be something different =
about my computer.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
