What is the advantage of 6.1? I just got this version installed today. I
re-coded one of our installs, and all I see is built-in support for Win2000
and different graphics. 5.5 installs still work on Win2000, so I don't see
the advantage. Now, making a wininstaller version for Win2000 might be
good, but I have not gotten that far yet.
It is times like these that I love Linux....I know 10 years from now, if I
copy the 5 VNC files to /usr/bin it will work. Stuff rots too fast in the
Windows world. When I tried installing on Win2000 beta, my Install Shield
script said that Win2000 was an unsupported platform. I am qualified to say
that since I maintain the installation program for my companies very large
database app using Install Shield 5.5 - 6.1.
