Numeric Keypad won't work with Caps Lock

The best thing to do, when connecting to a remote server, is to make sure
that there is a default 'state' of the keyboard.  I have found that if the
client keyboard 'state' is different from the server you are connecting to
then problems can arise.

A usual suggestion is to leave NUM LOCK on but turn off CAPS LOCK (and
scroll lock if that's been abled for whatever reason).

P.S  I will note that sometimes you can toggle the states correctly, and the
client's keyboard lights reflect those changes, but I haven't managed to get
it to do this consistantly.

On VNC servers running WINVNC v3.3.3r1, the keypad won't work if CapsLock is

on.  This has been noted during and after the server has been observed, 
using the Java applet at http://server_name:5800/.  The problem doesn't 
occur if the remote keyboard and mouse are disabled.

All of this has been observed using French keyboards, computers, etc.

Has this already been noted or is there something I can do to fix the 
problem?
