There is a way to do this but I'm not sure it will work using the current
release, which has a preferences bug. (I can post you a patched executable
to tide you over until the next release)
The easiest solution is to have your colleagues use the User Properties
dialog to disable incoming socket connections. Because User Properties are
per-user, when they logout, the listening socket will be restored and you'll
be able to connect.
