Splitting lists.

I believe that the most sensible suggestion by far has been to add a
small tag to the beginning of the subject letting everyone know to what
the message pertains. For example; (I was going to send this out
earlier butsomeone beat me to it a day or so ago):
[Linux] - For any Linux related questions/comments.
[Win] - For Any Windows related questions/comments.
[Mac] - For any Mac related questions/comments.
[Unix] - For other Unix flavor related questions/comments.
[Misc] - For the other supported platforms.
[General] - For anything that relates to all platforms of just some
random comments (such as "VNC is awesome")
[Flame] - So we can all trash it without reading it but allows you to
rant and get it out of your system..
This should be plenty of categories for everyone and the best thing is
we don't have to split the list. I personally administer a network with
every popular interface and a couple of the lesser ones. I would prefer
to not have to subscribe to many different lists. With a little
discipline I believe we can all make this work.
