To get your normal X-Windows working on Corel's distribution with vncserver, 
try using Debian's version of the scripts.  I don't know offhand exactly 
what they changed, but it makes your normal X-Windows environment (complete 
with desktop manager and all) come up instead of twm.

Saves having to do tweaking that was already done...
