Strange problem with WinVNC 3.3.3r2

Well, everytime I try to keep things short so that the main point gets
across better, I end up messing the whole thing up...
OK, you are right in thinking what you suggest, but I am very well aware of
the point and in actual fact I can ping my computer. I actually use my IP or
my dynamically updated DNS address, which in full is kayseri.ods.org...
BTW, I think there has been some progress on my case though.. I can
succesfully telnet all ports on my computer except a few thousand between
4500 and 7000 or something... Well, when I change the display number of my
WinVNC server to 2000 (which brings the port to 7900), I can successfully
connect... I know the problem doesn't stem form my ISP because I use many
different ones and it is the same through all... I don't have a firewall or
proxy installed on my computer (I have never installed any for that
matter).. But somehow no one can access some few thousand ports on my
computer and VNC ports happen to be in there.. ARRRGH...
Any ideas are welcome....
I am sorry that this thread is getting a little out of the VNC topic...
