Password conversion

Does anyone know of a utility that will change a plain text password to what
the VNC Server expects to see from the Windows registry?

What I'm looking to do is randomly generate a password, tell the user the
password, run it through some utility, export the information into a .reg
file and import it into the server's registry.

Any information would be helpful.
