num lock & cap lock lights

We have noticed that if a user has their  numlock and/or capslock on, the 
lights go out and numlock and capslock is turned off immediately upon 
connection by a viewer.

Has anyone else noticed this and if so did you find a solution?

Using NT4 with SP6a and VNC 3.3.3.R2
