Well, I managed to fix my own problem. It seems the basic VGA configuration
would not work with VNC. Turns out the graphics card was not being
recognized in the slot it was located in. (?) Anyway, I swapped slots, the
card was recognized, and things seem to be working fine!

Subject: VNC and 2000 - "Connection Closed" errors

Hello, I've been sifting through the archives regarding the "Connection
Closed" errors but haven't found the solution for my problem. I'm running
Win2k Server and upon entering the password, I receive a "connection closed"
dialog. When entering an incorrect password, it tells me so. I have some
friends who are running it on 2000 without any issues, and this is the first
problem we've had with it...and it's never worked on this particular
machine. The service is also set to interact with the desktop, the applet
doesn't work (blank screen), and running it as an application provides the
same errors.

This is a bitchin' product, and we're completely hooked on it! Any insight?
