On most yes - I did just check and there were a couple which were not set to
"Interact with Desktop" - I checked off this box but still no luck - Must
the server be rebooted? I don't see why as I did stop and resstart the
service "VNC Server" but that did not make any change.

Thank You.

Does the VNC service have access to the desktop, in the Service Control
Manager?

Any help on the following would be greatly appreciated:

I am running VNC 3.3.3 r2 and on several servers and when I try to connect I
get a "Connection Closed" error when typing in the password. In all cases
VNC has been installed to run as a service, I do have full administrator
privileges. If I connect once, it may work just fine, then it does not
work. (This works fine on 20-30 other NT servers 4.0 SP6a)

I have tried to run the following from a command prompt to reset it but no
luck:
winvnc -kill
winvnc -remove
winvnc -install
net start "vnc server"

Everything says that the service has installed and it is running okay but
the same error always comes up. I have verified the password etc but to no
avail.

Please help as this is driving me nuts

Thank You
Steve Staves
