In regards to your comments and Brandon's:

While the proxy server and logs may be a better way to deal with e-mail and web
browsing, you both forgot one of the primary reasons we use VNC -- as stated in
my previous e-mail, "To ensure quality Customer Service, she [the Classified
Supervisor] monitors their phone conversations with customers.  Depending on the
conversation, it may prove useful to monitor how they are taking the ad as
well."

This is a training and Customer Service issue -- the side benefit is that she
sees what they are doing in e-mail and on the internet when we think they may be
abusing access privileges.  (-:

I will ask our internet boys about logging and how they handle things though --
because I agree with your comments, Brandon that log files show a truer picture
of what is going on all the time rather than the snapshot approach with VNC.

 I never even thought about this approach!  Thanks for your comments and ideas.
The internet boys are in the 'New Media' department here -- and not in the IS
department -- we tend to not do a lot of talking because they are in a different
department and responsible to someone else....
