Invalid Protocol

I have VNC app. running on NT 4.0 PDC SP5 as a service port 5901 behind NT 4.0
SP5 stand alone server with Winroxy 3.0, both Winproxy and VNC are the latest
releases. I have set the port mappings in Winproxy to the non routable IP on
LAN. From remote sight connected to the internet running VNC viewer from Win98
to external IP address of Proxy :5901, I get this message Invalid protocol. I
did a search of your database , but the search returned no
hits................................. please help
