Does anybody have VNCviewer running on a Pentium III? Did you have to modify
anything to get it to work?

Ever since I upgraded my processor to a Pentium III - VNCviewer will freeze
/ halt my whole workstation everytime I start to drag an xterm window around
inside the viewer.

If I don't move any windows around in the viewer, everything works okay -
but the moment I click the title bar of an xterm window and begin dragging
it somewhere everything freezes up / halts on the machine. I have to
re-power the box to get back in.

The java version of the viewer works fine.

The VNCviewer works fine on my old Pentium 100, just not on my new
Pentium III.

Some details on what I'm running:

Server: vnc-3_3_3r1_x86_linux_2_0, on RedHat 6.1 (Kernel 2.2.12-20)

Problem processor: vnc-3_3_3r7_x86_win32, on Win98 with a Pentium III
processor (600MHz, coppermine)

Okay processor: vnc-3_3_3r7_x86_win32, on Win98 with a Pentium processor
(100MHz)

Any thoughts?

Kind Regards,
