Subject: Win2000 Server and Connect problem
All,
I did search the archives for help on this and found a thread, to which,
many people responded -- all having the same problem. Unfortunately, I never
saw a resolution.
In the thread:
When I run VNC Server on a Windows 2000 Server machine, it
installs and starts without incident. When I try to connect to said machine
from a Windows 98 machine on my network, I get the password screen, into
which I type the password. I immediately get a message back that says
'Connection closed'. Ironically, I can connect to my Windows 98 VNC Server
from my Windows 2000 Server running VNC client.
I am having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM.
Can anyone tell me what the final resolution was?
TIA,
Mark
