I do this all the time with no problems. Let's get this straight... Say
you have 3 machines: One running WinVNC server (A), one running WinVNC
viewer (B), one running X VNC viewer (C). You try to connect from C to A
and it fails, but you can successfully connect B to A? Just to make sure
this isn't a default password vs. current user password issue, connect
from B to A, this close the viewer. Now try to connect from C to A. As
silly as this sounds, make sure you don't have Caps Lock on, also.
