WinVNC and Novell IP Gateway

Although I have used Novell (this was v3 and v4) I haven't actually used the
IP Gateway...What I am going to assume though, is that the IP Gateway is
modifying the headers to say that it is the source of the IP Packet
(probably because it might be using NAT in there) . NAT = Network Address
Translation, and this is used to mask an internal IP adress to be an
external one, thus your problem which exists while the IP Gateway is on, and
not when it's off.

Subject: WinVNC and Novell IP Gateway
When I put WinVNC on a computer that uses Novell IP Gateway, WinVNC gives me
our outside IP address instead of an internal IP address. WinIPcfg shows
the
correct address. If I try to connect, it tells me that the server cannot be
found. If I takes off Novell IP Gateway, which is not an option, it will
give
me the correct address. Is there anyway for me to set WinVNC to get its IP
address from Windows insted of Novell IP Gateway. Or is there another
solution.
Thanks,
Mike White
