Windows 98 Problem???

I have VNC running on two win98 computers and they are both connected with an ethernet network. On both computers I have a viewer and a server. I have it this way so I would have the abillity to controll both computers from the opposite stations. When I bring up the viewer on (Lets call it computer 1) computer 1 everything is fine. I am able to manipulate the other computer. However when I try to view computer 1 with computer 2 all that happens is that the applet appears for a second and then dissapears. It gives no errors so I have no Idea what is wrong. I also have WinProxy running. Any suggestions?
