WinVNC and Novell IP Gateway

When I put WinVNC on a computer that uses Novell IP Gateway, WinVNC gives me
our outside IP address instead of an internal IP address.  WinIPcfg shows the
correct address.  If I try to connect, it tells me that the server cannot be
found.  If I takes off Novell IP Gateway, which is not an option, it will give
me the correct address.  Is there anyway for me to set WinVNC to get its IP
address from Windows insted of Novell IP Gateway.  Or is there another
solution.
