How do I run VNCViewer (win) thru ssh?

Nope, not if you're going from Win9x to Unix. Just grab a command line
ssh client from the following place (as noted on ttssh's web page) :-
http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/people/chaffee/winntutil.html#sshnt

Just follow the instructions for setting ssh up then create a
vncserver on the freebsd box by sshing to it. I did this using a BAT
file and have another for killing the VNC server afterwards.

Sincerely,

Adrian Phillips
