Network Traffic generated by WinVNC

We have been running some tests here to evaluate the network traffic generated by WinVNC. So far, the only tests we have been running are across our WAN where it is difficult to tell if high level's of traffic are actually related to WinVNC being used, or are coincidental. From the tests done in this area though, the traffic generated has been fairly bandwidth intensive. We are planning to do some thorough closed off tests next week with a custom set-up LAN which will be used ONLY for WinVNC so that we can gain fully accurate results. Before we do this though, I would be very interested if anyone else has done similar tests, or if they know network traffic to be a problem, or even if they know it to not be a problem. We do not want to find that running WinVNC has a detrimental effect on other live services.
