SCO and VNC

Hello

I am testing the Xvnc server on a SCO OpenServer platform. I succeeded to
compile the source code. I also downloaded a DOS vncviewer and I am able to
get a 'xterm' app from SCO on my DOS viewer display.

But now I want to have a scologin on my DOS viewer. Have you experienced that
?

Because I met a very strange security problem.

To enable a login on my viewer I modified the Xservers file. I added a line
"mysco:1 foreign" (where mysco is my computer name).

I also modified the /etc/X1.host file and I added the 2 lines 'localhost' and
'mysco'.

And when I invoked "scologin start" it doesn't work. Due to security problems
(stange messages in vnc log file). In fact, the Xvnc daemon reads the X1.host
file but doesn't use the local entries (both localhost and mysco). I checked
that by invoking the "xhost" command. This non-use of local entries prevents
"scologin" connection to be accepted by Xvnc.

Have you any idea about that ?
did you succeed to enable a scologin on a vncviewer ?

Do you think the Xvnc behavior (don't care about local entries) is normal ? or
is it a bug ? I have no experience with the Linux X daemon so I can not
compare.

In advance, thank you for your help
