Log on problems

I have just installed the WinVNC-Server ver. 3.3.3 R6 on a NT 4.0/S.Pack 5
Workstation and the machine is connected to a TCP/IP nettwork. The
VNC-Server is running as a service and start up automatic when the machine
is booting up. When I try to log on to the VNC-Server from the VNCViewer on
a UNIX box I get the message: VNC authentication failed.
To get connection I have to first log on local on the workstation as
administrator or another user, and then log on to the VNC-Server from the
UNIX box. Of course this log on method is not what I really expected - so I
hope somebody could help me with this problem.
