Just to avoid confusion here, you don't need to patch VNC to use SSH or
Zebedee, for example.  You just have to set up the tunnels before you
start the out-of-the-box VNC viewer.  And SSH does lots of other cool
stuff, like provide you with a secure, remote shell, and X11 forwarding.
