Error message

Hello Evryone.

I have VNC running on my network at home. The problem arises when I try to gain access to my desktop over the Internet. I get to the VNC login page fine, put in my password and then I get a message that reads:

"Java.net. Socket Exception reset by peer."

Does anyone know what this means and/or how to get around it?
