Have you tried just pressing (and then releasing) both of Ctrl and Alt
individually, when this occurs?  It's probably just that the state of one of
them is getting "stuck" at the server side, which occassionally happens.

Thanks.  We'll try to do better and whup whoever we're playing next!  (The
Germans, I think.)  It was a very exciting match against Portugal, if
nothing else.
